Hedgelaying Workshops
Come and spend the weekend with an experienced Hedgelayer and learn all the skills needed to lay your own hedge to a proffessional standard, or to just gain the skill.
On a community run farm in North Cornwall which over looks the sea and is only 3 miles from Crackington Haven Beach.
You can either stay on site and join in with the community meals or we can help you find local B&B's to stay at
If you have your own tools, please bring them along. But tools can be provided.
You will need warm clothes and sturdy waterproof boots and working gloves.

Newquay Christmas Light Switch On
Come and see the grand switch on of the Newquay Christmas lights. Christmas is just around the corner!

Fireworks Night 2010
Great family fun and Fireworks Display at Newquay Sports and Community Centre on Friday 5th November 2010. food and refreshments are available from 5.30pm with the display scheduled to start at 6.30pm. Admission for Adults (16years and over) is £2.00 each and includes a Free Tea or Coffee, Children (5-16 yrs) £1.00 each and includes a Free Flashy Toy! Children under 5 are free.
In the interests of safety unfortunately Sparklers are not permitted.

Stithians Agricultural Show
Description
Stithians Show is one of the largest and oldest one day shows in the country. It is held annually in July and the attendance is in excess of 20,000 people each year.
Main Features:
Horses, Cattle, Horticulture, YFC, Domestic, Poultry, Dogs and Agility, Cage Birds, Rabbits, Sheep, Goats, Pigeons, Parade of Cattle, Taste of Cornwall, WI, Steam, Vintage/Classic Vehicles and Rare Breeds, Community of Churches, Fairground, Trade Stands and Catering.
Prices: 2010 Adult £9, Senior £6 and child £3 at the gate.

Royal Cornwall Show
Description
For three days each year the showground at Wadebridge is transformed into a living town, bustling with life, energy, agriculture, entertainment and trade. It is a significant event on the Cornish calendar with well over 110,000 people attending. The 2011 show will be held from 9th - 11th June.

Murdoch Day
Description
Each year Redruth celebrates its most famous citizen, inventor William Murdoch, with an exciting programme of events including children's dance and art procession, all day music and entertainment with Radio Cornwall's Freddy Zapp, a street market with more than 50 stalls, old tyme fair, exhibitions and a variety of live concerts and other events round the town.

Art Exhibition by Gwynngala
Description
Art Exhibition featuring works by 'Gwynngala'. 20 Artists and Makers will be exhibiting paintings, textiles, prints, photography, sculpture, papier mache and cerramics at The Willoughby Gallery at The Castle Heritage Centre, in Bude.
A mixed media exhibition by a group of artists and makers from the Launceston area who have taken as their main inspiration – just jazz!

Paddington Bear
Description
Come along to Bodmin General Station and meet the children’s favourite Paddington Bear, who will be mingling with the crowds, with plenty of time for a photograph and a chat. A great weekend for children of all ages to enjoy.
