Free to attend, this will be an evening of musical theatre songs performed by new musical theatre company 'Horn and Hare' plus an auction and a raffle with some great prizes. Santa arrives near Trenance Cottages at 10am to be greeted by children before he is carried by sleigh into Trenance Cottages. His Grotto will then be open for business from 10am until 4pm Saturday & Sunday. There is a small charge per child which includes a gift. Refreshments will be available with a Treasure Trail in the gardens. Face painting and a workshop for children to make christmas novelties all add to the fun. All welcome.

Fistral Beach is the place to be on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th September to see the Finale of the Zapcat Championship. Racing takes place to decide the Winner of the Championship with a Presentation Evening and Awards Ceremony at Fistral Blu on the Saturday evening. This spectacular event is free to watch and always provides thrills and spills to excite and delight.

Polo on the Beach is a free exhibition polo match held in a unique location: On
the beach at Watergate Bay. If the past four years are anything to go by, Tuesday 11th September 2011, between 3pm and 9pm, will be a don't miss, double-underline date in the diary. Two teams, with players drawn from the ranks of professional polo teams, will put on a spectacular exhibition of arena style polo. The match is fast-paced and exciting, and with unrestricted access to the beach spectators are able to watch the action at close hand.

A celebration of the work of the RNLI with demonstrations, rescues, a chance to board the boats and meet the RNLI volunteers. Great day for the family.

The Relentless Boardmasters is run across two locations, Fistral Beach and Watergate Bay.
Fistral Beach is home to the surf, skate, BMX and many others activities between 10am and 7pm each day. On Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday evenings the Fistral Beach Bar re-opens at 7:30pm with live music till midnight. These gigs are the only ticketed events at Fistral Beach.

Learn handy skills for safari survival at Safari Night! Take a tour around Newquay Zoo and complete survival challenges on your way. Build your own shelter, help identify animal tracks and have a go at camouflage painting. Have a go at the assault course and take the bush tucker trial - if you dare. You and your team could win a prize for best survivors, or win a prize for being the team least likely to survive!

Starting from 10am at Hendra Holiday Park, near Newquay, TR8 4NY the Topless Charity Tour 2012 would like to invite owners of convertible vehicles, of all kinds, to take part in a fun road trip to Lands End whilst raising money for the Clic Sargent Cancer Charity in memory of Harriet Cole from Newquay. Everyone is welcome on Sunday 17th June 2012 to join this pleasurable journey through the Cornish countryside. An OPEN TOP BUS will be joining the tour this year so even more people can enjoy the beautiful views and the wind in their hair!

For those of you that have never been down to Newquay before, the Miniworld Riviera Run is a 2 day Mini festival held at Trevelgue Holiday Park complete with organized cruise, specialized mini events, a Show ‘n' Shine, a festival village, an indoor swimming pool and a week of live entertainment in our on-site bars.

The event attracts around 1000 cars and over 2000 people. Special attractions have included the talents of International Strongman John Evans who is famous amongst other things for balancing a Mini on his head!
