On the 2nd August we’re offering a whole day of girly surfing fun - we’ve got a morning surf session (approx 2 hours) with our professional O’Neill coaches. We’ll then head to the phoenix beach bar for a spot of lunch with our crew.
The afternoon will involve a great ‘hooping’ session - learn how to hula hoop - its a great way to get fit for surfing and exercise those core muscles. Best of all it’s an absolute hoot!
The surf lesson and all tuition, equipment, lunch, hooping lesson and use of equipment is included in the day. You’ll even get an oneill goody bag too.

The Newquay Open come to Fistral for the 12th 13th November, the final stop on the Junior UKPST.

To top the weekend off Marley Mellow Mood will put on an After Party following the Awards at Fistral Blu Bar, Fistral Beach.

This prestigious night will bring together the cream of UK surfing and industry professionals in a celebration of the UK’s thriving surf scene and its outstanding individual achievements.

Award winning Social Enterprise Catch a Wave® UK cic, is hosting a
series of Beach Cleans in conjunction with Keep Britain Tidy, with the next one at Gwithian beach, Hayle, this Sunday 30 Oct.

The Beach Clean is between 1-3pm, and is being held to raise awareness of the respectful use of our oceans and nature, caring for the environment, and bringing together the community for a fun, relaxed afternoon for all, on a lovely Cornish beach!

We’re holding 2 lots of 2 Day Girls Surfing Courses at The O’Neill Surf Academy this August.

Come and Join us for this great opportunity to receive coaching from an all girls cast – and surf with like minded people!

Whether you’re new to surfing and would like to give its a first go, or you’re already an experience water baby we’ll be offering a whole variety coaching at all levels.

We’ll explore surfing techniques and methods, surf fitness and exercises as well as all the basic skills that you’ll need to get yourself out there in the water.

The 21st May see’s the first running of the Rider invitational surf contest to be held at Porthmeor beach St Ives.

16 of the UK’s top surfers have been hand picked to battle it out for a cash prize with no entry fees for competing.

A tidy sum has been set aside for a prize pot totalling £1,500 to be shared out by the top 3 surfers on the day.
1st Place - £1,000 cash
2nd Place - £300 cash
3rd Place - £200 cash
