Sea Monsters Week

Blue Reef Aquarium in Newquay will be taken over by Sea Monsters for the October half-term holidays.

As well as revealing the truth behind some of the world's most famous sea monster stories there's even a chance to come face to face with some real monsters of the deep!

Blue Reef Divers Weekend

Blue Reef is inviting visitors to discover the secrets of the underwater world this Saturday and Sunday. In association with a local dive club, the weekend aims to provide a fascinating introduction to both the sport of diving and the rich variety of local marine habitats.

A local diving school will be on hand throughout the weekend to offer an introduction to diving in the South West, as well as bringing in various pieces of scuba equipment for you to look at.

An Illustrated Guide to Bird Life at Par by Mark Whittaker

Ever thought that all we have are gulls, geese and swans? Prepare to be amazed at the variety of birds that can be found on our patch.

Come and learn about the bird life of Par throughout the year. From grebes to divers to finches to warblers. See the changes throughout the year and find out why Par is so rich in bird life.

Join us for a brilliant day down at Kennack Sands on the Lizard Peninsular. Have a go at making beach art, explore the wild and wonderful creatures living in rock pools on a rockpool ramble or get creative with the art activities in the tent. Rain or shine there will be something to discover and to get involved in.

Find us on the 3rd of May between 11am until 3 pm in the tent at the back of Kennack Sands on the Lizard. This event is FREE, there is a charge to park your car. Children must be accompanied by an adult.Booking is not necessary, just turn up!

Cream Egg Prizes on the Easter Egg Trail at Paradise Park

Bring the family for a fun day out on Sunday the 4th and Monday 5th April when we will be running a fun Easter Egg trail with yummy Cream Egg prizes!

Plus lots of activities including the Penguin Photocall, Flight of the Rainbows (when you get to help feed over 40 Rainbow Lorikeets), Free Flying Bird Shows plus the Eagles of Paradise display.

On top of that come and see out Easter bunnies in the Fun Farm plus our new baby lamb, donkeys, goats, guinea pigs and a brand new tractor and trailer to play on.

Flight of the Rainbows at Paradise Park

For a fantastically fun and interactive experience look no further than the ‘Flight of the Rainbows’ at Paradise Park.

Every day at 2pm, over 40 Rainbow and Green-naped Lorikeets are released from their enclosure and swoop down onto the awaiting crowd of visitors in the Australian Aviary Exhibit.

Staff prepare pots of nectar which visitors can purchase for just 50p guaranteeing you will receive some close attention from these wonderfully mischievous little characters.

Mother's Day Offer at Paradise Park

Staff are celebrating the birth of a new lamb by offering Mums entry for ‘child price’ on Sunday 14th March.

Fantastic family fun day with Cornwall Mammal Group

The Cornwall Mammal Group is celebrating its 10th birthday in style by running a family fun day on Saturday 10th October at the Tremough Campus, Penryn. The event will highlight all the mammal conservation work carried out in Cornwall and launch the ‘Cornwall Mammal Atlas Project’. Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy the games, prizes and exciting mammal-related activities.
