Live at The Ship Inn, South Cliff, Mousehole, TR19 6QX from 9pm. Great original acoustic songs performed on bouzouki, guitar, flute and whistles by the popular folk roots duo (Mandy Gustafsson and Mickey Ripley), accompanied on this occasion by Thor Gustafsson on melodeon and concertina and Gayl Rodger on violin.

Now in their 46th year, the Christmas lights in Mousehole are a stunning sight, with floating displays of lights in the harbour and around the streets.
The 2010 ‘switch-on’ will be held on Saturday 18th December at 7.30pm.
There will be the usual open-air Carolaire service at the entrance to the North Quay. The ‘Carolaire Choir’, comprising of the Mousehole Male Voice Choir and members of the Mousehole Chapel Choir, together with the Pendeen Silver Band, will lead the community singing.

The 2009 ‘switch-on’ will be held on Saturday 12 December at 7.30pm.
This year the lights will be switched on by the elder Statesmen of the Mousehole Male Voice Choir, The Male Voice Choir have been celebrating their Centenary Year during 2009. The Carolaire service takes between 20 – 30 minutes depending on the weather.
Tom Bawcocks Eve - Mousehole
Tom Bawcock's Eve is a festival held on the 23rd of December in Mousehole, Cornwall, UK. The festival is held in celebration and memorial of the efforts of Mousehole resident Tom Bawcock to lift a famine from the village. During this festival Star Gazey pie (a mixed fish, egg and potato pie with protruding fish heads) is eaten and depending on the year of celebration a lantern procession takes place.
MOUSEHOLE CARNIVAL AND ART AND CRAFT EXHIBITION
Mousehole Carnival and Art and Craft Exhibition is from Friday 21st to Monday 24th August 2009. It is a fun weekend for all the family. It will be opened by Bill Pertwee (from Dad's Army) and Bob McCreadie from Pirate FM. at 11.00 a.m. on Friday 21st August.
