In 1877 Queen Victoria granted Truro city status. Completed in 1910 Truro Cathedral has one of the highest spires in the country. Truro hosts many local specialist stores, and is a popular destination for visitors.
There is an excellent Park and ride scheme or you can travel to the City by boat from Falmouth. Truro boats an Marks and Spencers and the Hall for Cornwall.
