RNLI Charity Concert

The Band of H M Royal Marines Plymouth and the Plymouth Gilbert & Sullivan Fellowship, supported by members of the Mevagissey Male Voice Choir, combine to produce this very special concert. The RM Band Plymouth returns once again to the Hall for Cornwall, but it is the first time that the Fellowship has performed here. It follows the highly successful CD “The Magic of Gilbert & Sullivan” recorded by the two and much acclaimed for its overall quality.

Cornwall Secondary Drama Showcase

Secondary students from across Cornwall will create mutinous winds, dread rattling thunder and heavenly music in a day of performances dedicated to Shakespeare’s plays and poetry.

Each school will take an excerpt from one of the plays, or a theme or characters to create a new piece of work or will dramatise a poem within a ten minute time limit. The result will be sixteen completely original performances across the matinee and evening highlighting the theatrical talent and creativity in Cornish schools.
