The Cornwall Garden Society's annual Spring Flower Show.

Held in the beautiful, off the beaten track, Boconnoc estate, this annual jamboree of flowers and all things horticultural is the earliest of the outdoor Shows in the Country.

First established in 1897, this popular event not only shows off many of the County's exotic blooms but brings thousands of ideas for the garden and estates through the great variety of traders who take up stands.

The Show has become a landmark event in the County each Spring.

24 to 26 July 2009 a 3 day event spread over 40 acres of beautiful Boconnoc Estate, Nr Liskeard. A thousand vintage mechanical exhibits. Free day-long trailer rides hauled by steam engines, free car parking. Model and Craft marquees. Trade Stands, traditional fun fair, beer tent and many other attractions. Boconnoc House also open for viewing. Sunday morning service in the private Boconnoc Church.

Sunday June 21st will see The 2009 CORNWALL Summer BEAR FAIR staged at the Lostwithiel Community Centre (PL22 0HE). This will be the tenth Fair in Cornwall organised by the partnership of Emmary Bears and Teddies of Trenode - Emmary Fairs, and this 2009 Fair promises to be even better!

The Community Centre, situated alongside the A390, which runs through Lostwithiel – ‘ The Antiques Centre of Cornwall ’ – is a very popular venue and has very good catering facilities, with free parking outside and throughout the town itself.
