Al Fresco Lunch for Terra Madre Day
Last year, over 120 countries held over 1150 events around the world to celebrate Terra Madre Day; to enjoy and promote good, clean and fair food. So.........
We would like to do something here in Cornwall to lend our support to this global food revolution.
Starting in the morning at the Camborne Produce Market (come anytime between 9.00am and 1.00pm) to shop for local produce and then on to the woodlands at Tehidy Country Park for an al fresco lunch in (4 mile drive from Camborne).
Cost: £5.00 per person. Open to members and non-members.

34th International Mining Games Competition
The International Mining Games makes it debut in the UK at King Edward Mine, in Troon near Camborne.
The primary aim of the competition is to keep the traditional mining techniques alive, many of which were developed in Cornwall. The competition has now evolved and also provides a talent scouting opportunity for mining companies and companies in related sectors, as well as enhancing the comradeship of the mining students over international borders.

Youth In Concert - Camborne Youth Band
Youth in Concert with Camborne Youth Band, featuring internationally acclaimed Cornet player, Alan Morrison and introducting Cornishman Richard Trethewey. Concert takes place at Camborne Wesley Chapel, Chapel Street, Camborne, TR14 8EG commencing at 7.45 on Sunday 30th October 2011. Tickets available at £3.oo for adults, under 16s free of charge. Camboren Produce Market
Local, undercover, produce market featuring local produce, fix-it stalls, flea market, charity and community stalls, craft, refreshments, entertainments, demos and more.
Located on Commercial Square (Trelowarren Street) and the Wesley Centre (Chapel Street) from 9.00am to noon every 2nd Saturday of the month starting on 9th July. The market is organised by Camborne Regeneration Forum with the help of Joanne Schofield, Market Controller for the successful Helston Farmers' Market.

Activities include animal handling, digger challenge, dog grooming demonstrations, farm tours, plant sales, pond dipping, sheep shearing, tractor riders and worm charming!
