Monthly Comedy Club

The Seahorse will begin its Monthly Comedy Club on Thursday 2nd February. Once a month, a variety of top acts from the London comedy circuit will provide an evening of hilarious entertainment. These shows will start at 8.30pm and due to the nature of the material will be restricted to over eighteens.

Burn's Night Celebration

On January 25th, The Seahorse, Pentewan Sands, will be holding a Burn’s Night Celebration complete with bag pipers, haggis supper and an evening of Scottish Ceilidh Dancing for your enjoyment. The address to the haggis will be given by Mr. Bill Urquhart and tickets are only £10, doors will open at 6.30pm.
The first Burn’s Night suppers were held in the late 18th century on the anniversary of Robert Burn’s death and have been a regular occurrence ever since, not only in Scotland but across the UK and as far as New Zealand. Don’t miss this great event, book your tickets now on 01726 843485.

A Music Night With Nasher

Lead guitarist from the original Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Brian Nash. This fantastic event will start at 8pm with opening act The Fandangos. With Nasher’s incredible talent and Liverpudlian charm, this event is one not to be missed. He will be accompanied by pro harmonica player Mitt Gamon who you may have seen play locally with Joe Brown or The Blockheads.
The opening act on the night is The Fandangos, a local acoustic duo from Wadebridge. They pride themselves on being adventurous in their set list with a mixture of originals and covers and strive to get everyone up and dancing.

The show will include Comedy; both stand up and improvisation (similar to Whose Line is it Anyway?), a quirky local Musical duo, performance poet and a mind reader and enigmatist. There are also three open slots available. Our very own American Comedian, Teresa Holcomb, will be your compere for the evening. Tickets are only £5 and include ‘Christmas surprises’. Doors open 7pm. St Austell Torchlight Carnival

Marking the beginning of winter, a one day celebration in the china clay capital of Cornwall.

St. Austell comes alive for the celebrations with a whole day of entertainment throughout the town, with live bands, stalls, music and dance and as it gets darker, the tremendous spectacle of the Torchlight Carnival parades through the town.
