New Feltmaking workshops for Spring 2010

Make something unique for yourself or for a gift... one student on our last workshop made a scarf which she then sold for £25!

We use beautiful soft 100% merino wooltops, choose from a palette of 22 fabulous colours.

Workshops are led by Teona Stockreiter, a talented felt designer. She makes beautiful and original felt hats, scarfs, handbags, cushions, pictures and just about anything that can be made from felt! To see her work go to Teona’s website.

Workshop dates:

Basic Feltmaking - Make a cushion or wall hanging
Learn the basic techniques of wet felting - 1-day workshops on;
Saturday 27th Feb at The Art Studio, Higher Trevethan
Saturday 6th March at Luxulyan Village Hall
Saturday 27th March at The Art Studio, Higher Trevethan
Saturday 24th April at The Art Studio, Higher Trevethan
Cost £20 + materials - this usually comes to between £3 and £5, it depends on how many colours you want!

Seamless Shapes - Make a Felt Bag or Tea Cosy - 1-day workshop
Sunday 7th March - at The Art Studio, Higher Trevethan - Cost £25 + materials

Nuno Felt Scarves - Make a fine summer scarf or warmer for winter - 1-day workshops on;
Saturday 3rd April at Luxulyan Village Hall
Sunday 4th April at The Art Studio, Higher Trevethan
Cost £25 + materials

Felt Hats - Make that hat you always dreamed of! - 1-day workshop
Sunday 2nd May - Cost £30 + materials

All workshops run from 10.30 am until 4.00 pm.

For the Seamless Shapes, Nuno Scarves and Felt Hats workshops you need to have been on the Basic Feltmaking workshop or have some prior experience of wet felting.
