![]() For a fantastically fun and interactive experience look no further than the ‘Flight of the Rainbows’ at Paradise Park. Every day at 2pm, over 40 Rainbow and Green-naped Lorikeets are released from their enclosure and swoop down onto the awaiting crowd of visitors in the Australian Aviary Exhibit. Staff prepare pots of nectar which visitors can purchase for just 50p guaranteeing you will receive some close attention from these wonderfully mischievous little characters. Director of Paradise Park Alison Hales comments “Flight of the Rainbows is one of many visitor experiences here at the Park and is extremely popular. You never know quite what is going to happen. You could end up covered in birds all vying for some nectar and squawking as they try to push each other out of the way. “ Visitor Dorothy said “We had such a brilliant time feeding the Lorikeets, I even had one on my head which felt so odd but was great fun. They are such beautiful birds. We will definitely be going back and would certainly recommend people pay them a visit.” The ‘Flight of the Rainbows’ experience runs from 27th March and will run through to October half term.
