Let us bring the inhabitants and history of the heathland to life as you journey around the trail trying out the different activities and challenges, using code cracking, bird spotting, natural painting and storytelling to weave the story of Goonhilly together. Have a fascinating day of discovery and adventure around the heath and the historical Ministry of Defence Second World War buildings.
This a registered event part of a UK wide celebration marking the countdown to the Olympic Games and the opening of the new easy access path.
Suitable for children and their families there will be something for all ages to enjoy, trail activities all accessible by wheelchair.
Free parking is in the Goonhilly Earth Station car park, the trail will start from here please follow the signs. Toilets are available (including disabled). No need to book, starts at 11am until 3pm, but last entrance to the trail is at 2:45 pm. Goonhilly Earth Station is NOT open; they have kindly lent us their car park!
