Mousehole Carnival and Art and Craft Exhibition is from Friday 21st to Monday 24th August 2009. It is a fun weekend for all the family. It will be opened by Bill Pertwee (from Dad's Army) and Bob McCreadie from Pirate FM. at 11.00 a.m. on Friday 21st August.

Thereafter there are many events planned for the weekend including barbecues, bouncy castles, bouncy boxing, visit from the lifeboat, live music, stalls, fancy dress competitions, photographic competition, treasure huntss, sandcastle competitions, Mousehole's got talent competition, watercolour challenge, beach races, tosher race, fancy dress punt race, quiz in the legion and sixties disco, and lots of other exciting things. There is also a pirate hunt throughout the weekend, and many will be dressed as pirates.

Bill Pertwee will be staying in the village for the weekend and will be signing copies of his autobiography at the art and craft exhibition which is open every day until 6.00 p.m. ON THE LAST NIGHT OF THE CARNIVAL THERE WILL BE A SPECTACULAR FIREWORK DISPLAY FROM THE OLD QUAY BEGINNING AT 10.00 P.M.
