Micah Lester, O’Neill UK team rider will be visiting the academy this summer to host our annual “Team Rider Coaching Days”. He’ll be hooking up with the coaches from the Academy to provide a Full Day of intensive training and advise - whether you are starting out and looking for some direction, or see yourself as the next big thing then Micah is on hand to give you the latest and greatest advise to get you to where you want to be.

As an accomplished surfer, hailing from the Gold Coast in Australia - Micah has had a pretty impressive surf CV. When he’s not coaching some of the Uk’s finest groms, you’ll find him at a contest or our bustin’ some big moves at his local beahes in Newquay! Having travelled round the globe several times, and surfed some of the best waves in the world Micah Lester is one of the best guys out there to help you fulfil your wildest surfing dreams.

These speciality coaching days are available as single or multiple sessions. This year we are giving you the opportunity to attend weekly at a reduced cost - more for less and less for more!

1 x FULL DAY SESSION £80

2 X FULL DAY SESSION £140

3 X FULL DAY SESSIONS £200

4 X FULL DAY SESSIONS £250

INFORMATION FOR PARENTS:

We welcome any surfer over 8 years of age. We run a maximum group size of 8 children, and for this reason early booking is essential as places fill up fast! It is not essential that you child has their own surfing gear ( board / wetsuits) as these can be provided free of charge for use during the sessions, though it is advantageous for your child to have their own equipment to practice on between sessions. If you are purchasing equipment for your child and would like some advise, all coaches will be available for discussion at the end of each session. Each daily session runs from 10am - 5pm. We will break for a short lunch at an appropriate time - either money for lunch or a packed lunch will be needed.

Please ensure that your child brings along some warm clothes to change into, a drink, packed lunch/lunch money, surfboard & wetsuit (if applicable), and as fewer valuables as possible.

Parents are not expected to stay at the beach for the entire duration of the day, though we do ask that you are available 15 minutes before the end of the day to collect your child.
