THE ROVER SEPTEMBER 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 at 8 pm and 9 & 11 at 2 pm Mistaken identity, drunkenness, false lovers, stolen trousers, all the elements of a Whitehall farce are to be found in this 330 year old comedy. A bawdy and boisterous battle of the sexes written by a woman playwright reckoned to be the first woman in this country to earn a living by the pen.
