Stamp & Go return after their great success last year in the first Penzance Proms festival of music & the arts. This Porthleven based group wowed the audience with salty shanties and their own moving lyrics about lifeboat disasters and life on board in the tall ship era. With brief interludes of poetry from the Newlyn group of poets, Drollow, (which means "amusing story" in Cornish!) this is a fabulous night out celebrating sea songs old and new and the many aspects and moods of the ocean. Come along to be stirred, amused and sometimes moved by imagery of lives affected by the ocean in all its beautiful and sometimes cruel moods.
