This will be the show's 133rd year and the event will once again be held in the Exhibition Hall at the Royal Cornwall Showground at Wadebridge. As in past years the day will see a packed programme of livestock and produce judging, plus trade and craft exhibits, with something for everyone.

SHOW CLASSES
A wide range of classes have been organised for the show covering not only cattle and sheep, and lamb and pork carcasses, but also fruit and vegetables, dairy produce, cookery, handicrafts, children’s classes, floral art, home-made wine, mead, liqueurs and honey. The popular YFC Stock Judging Competitions, for both cattle and sheep will again be held during the lunchtime period. This will hopefully help to encourage the younger, perhaps less experienced entrants. These competitions help provide valuable training for Young Farmers with an eye for quality livestock. The carcase classes will again provide an impressive sight, with classes for lamb and pork being judged. In the produce section, a vast array of classes will be seen from Hay and Corn to Cakes and Preserves. The Fruit and Vegetable Section has always been very popular and should provide much keen competition. As always a large section of the Show consists of Classes for YFC members and for 2011 the theme of the Club Exhibit Competition is ‘The Olympics – London 2012’. The theme for the Women's Institute Class will for this year be ‘Diamond Jubilee’. Entries close on Friday 11 November. Please ring 01208 814489 for schedules and entry forms.

TRADE and CRAFT EXHIBITS
Once again, several local firms will be exhibiting at the Show and are sure to extend a warm welcome to anyone visiting their stand. A large and varied range of crafts will also be on Show from various local crafts men and women and should provide an ideal opportunity for some early Christmas shopping.
